It is advisable to have your rental property professionally cleaned ready for the first tenancy then there is a set standard on how we expect the property to be returned to us in terms of cleanliness.
Repairs and Maintenance
The landlord has a statutory obligation to keep the property in good repair this includes the structure and exterior of the building, appliances that supply gas, electricity and water and to repair appliances for water and space heating and to keep in repair the sanitary appliances.
Any soft furnishings and furniture supplied must conform to the current fire safety regulations of The Furniture & Furnished (Fire)(Safety) Regulations 1988.
